We understand that the criminal justice system and forensic work is complex, and that you and your colleagues may have specific training needs. We provide bespoke training packages for teams or any of our existing training can be delivered to your team in a closed event. Open training events have many benefits including the input of a range of delegates of various backgrounds and disciplines, and closed events can have other benefits such as tailoring of the training to the needs of your clinical work. Most of our events are currently beng delivered live online to minimise COVID transmission risk and to aid the accessibility of training for people around the UK, but we hope to return to more routine face to face delivery in the future.
Our training has been delivered to staff from agencies including the NHS (secure and community settings), HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), Youth Offending Teams (YOT), social services / Local Authorities, private healthcare/hospitals, therapeutic organisations, specialist colleges, and other specialist services. Training has also been delivered to those professionals working in private/independent clinical practice.
Attendees have included psychologists (clinical, forensic, educational, and counselling), psychiatrists, therapists, interventions facilitators, nurses with various specialisms, treatment managers, social workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, risk management specialists, probation officers, prison staff, police staff, and researchers to name but a few professions. Please see the individual training pages for specific feedback relating to our open events.
